Ghadir Bridge is the eighth bridge over Karun River in Ahvaz. It is the longest cable bridge in the Middle East. The structure of this bridge is of cable type with a length of 1014 meters and a width of 22 meters, the width increases one meter in the middle of the bridge. The eighth bridge of Ahvaz has become a new symbol for this metropolis with a beautiful and different view of Karun’s night, next to the White Bridge and other bridges of Ahvaz, the foundations of this bridge, held by long cables over Karun, shine in the darkness of Ahvaz's nights. This bridge connects Zand Street in the east of Karun River to Takht-e Solaiman Street in the west of the river. There are 32 cables on both sides of the bridge that the total length of them is 170 kilometers.
