National Bank House of Bojnord, as its name implies, is one of Bojnord's special attractions and the first bank branch in North Khorasan Province. This building is a remnant of late Qajar and early Pahlavi periods which has been designed and built on the basis of an understanding of Asian and European architectural pattern. It belonged to one of the former lawyers of Bojnord who was assigned to the National Bank after the revolution. National Bank House of Bojnord has a galvanized roof with four cylindrical columns in two separate porches. Other decorations include mirror work, stucco and woodcarving on the doors and windows. Beautifully cut bricks are used in two rows in the top part of the columns. Another beauty of this National Bank House is its decoration with a frame of seven color tiles. Today this building is considered as one of the historic monuments of Bojnord by many tourists and the beauty of its appearance attracts the travelers’ attention. It is also eye-catching and impressive because of its interior decoration.
