Chadegan is a city in Isfahan that its delightful weather and lush nature has changed it into a beautiful spot for tourists and travelers. Zayanderud Dam with an area of 45 square kilometers is located near Chadegan, 110 kilometers to the west of Isfahan. The dam was constructed to provide drinking water of Isfahan, Chaharmahal, Bakhtiari and Yazd, as well as, providing agricultural water, power generation and flood control of the region in 1970. The lake is home for rainbow trout and attracts many fishing lovers every year. There is a commercial and entertainment complex in a short distance from the dam and it is equipped with facilities such as horseback riding club, Motorboat and Sea bus. Other facilities including restaurants, swimming pool, football pitch, volleyball court, cable car, cycling track and helicopter runway are surely considered as pluses.
