Golshan Garden is considered as a masterpiece from Zandieh and Qajar era and its existence in the middle of the two Iranian salt deserts, Dasht-e Lut and Dasht-e Kavir, seems like a miracle. It was originally built on the thirteenth century upon the order of Amir Mohammad Hassan Khan Arab Zangi, the ruler of Ferdows and Tabas. Golshan Garden is almost square with a total area of seven acres, a length of about 266 meters and a width of about 260 meters. The place where the Golshan Garden was built was originally the garden of palm trees. Therefore, Golshan palm trees are the oldest trees in this garden.
