Delvar is a port city in Bushehr, located in the south of Tangestan, and it is considered as the coastal center of the area, on the border of the Persian Gulf in the middle of Bushehr. Every year, a large number of tourists visit the historic museum of Ra'is Ali Delvari, as well as enjoy the beautiful and charming beach of Delvar. Delvar district enjoys several fishing ports including Rostami Port, Bu ol Kheyr Port and Ameri Port that the last one plays a significant role in shrimp fishing. Another interesting point is that Delvar has large numbers of villages that form the most concentrated rural texture in the southern coast of Iran.
