Located on 4th kilometer of Tehran-Karaj Road, Eram Amusement Park was constructed in 1971, within an area as wide as 72 hectars. This park features an eight-hectare lake and three playgrounds called Luna Park 1, 2 and 3, along with 70 kinds of amusement equipments and a Zoological Garden. The zoo is home to more than 800 animals from 111 different species. Various species of mammals, reptiles, aquatic animals and birds are kept in this zoo that 60% of which are local and the rest have been brought from different parts of the globe, especially from Africa. Other Eram Amusement Park’s facilities include three amusement parks with over 74 recreational facilities, summer swimming pools for ladies, green and forest spaces, and an indoor game room. The complex, with its high educational and recreational capabilities, hosts a large number of Iranian families and educational training camps annually. Eram Amusement Park has a special popularity among Iranians for its diversity and variety of leisure, educational and cultural facilities.
