Mellat Park or Bostan Mellat is located in the 3rd district of Tehran, with a total area of 34 hectares, and it is one of Tehran's largest parks. The plant cover of the park is very diverse and includes apple, apricot, peach, berry, persimmon, and fig trees. Perennial flowers cover some parts of the park and create beautiful views. There is a staircase fountain situated in the upper part of the park. There are also many sculptures of Persian celebrities such as Ferdowsi, Saadi Shirazi, Mohammad-Hossein Shahriar and Nima Yooshij. As you reach the center of the park, you can see a yellow bridge over another fountain, where there are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. There is also a zoo on the west part of the park with a verity of species including peacock, zebra, finch, budgerigar, parrot, ostrich and monkey. At the end of the Mellat Park, a four-dimensional cinema was also established. The park was fully constructed in 1947 and since then, people in Tehran and other cities have been going to the park to spend hours away from the bustle of the city.
