Abarkooh is one of the ancient Iranian cities located in the west part of Yazd and near the Fars providence. Situated on the path of world-famous Silk Road, Abarkooh has been one of the most important and ancient city of Iran. Aghazadeh Mansion with its windcatcher (badgir) belonging to Qajar Dynasty is located in Abarkooh. This building has been registered as a historical monument. After two years of renovation according to the highest levels of standards, the complex is ready to host dear guests. This four star mansion consists of five historical buildings including the Aghazadeh mansion, Seyyed Ali Agha House, Mousavi House, Hosseini House and Gabri House. All of these five houses are connected through the roof which overlooks the ancient architecture of the city. Three of these Houses have been converted to residential units and a boutique hotel. All the rooms are equipped with high standard amenities such as air conditioning, fan coil heating and cooling systems, free internet access, refrigerator, TV, hairdryer and toiletries. The restaurant and the coffee shop inside the Mansion invited all dear guests to taste Iranian and local cuisine in an attractive and peaceful environment. There are many historical sites in the city which attracts many tourists every year. Old cypress tree which is said to be over 4000 years old, Aali Dome, Jame’e Mosque, Biroon Mosque, Pir e Seddigh Tomb and Solat Mansion are just few examples of these attractions.
