Accommodation Highlights
The traditional residence Keshish House is one of the few remaining old houses in the Jolfa neighborhood in Isfahan Province, which is based on the Safavid architecture and dates back to Qajar period. This traditional hotel is located in Jolfa neighborhood, in the Tabrizi area of Isfahan, which belonged to Gargin Hananiyan, the priest of Jolfa, who died in September 1940 and was buried alongside the bell of the Vank Church. The traditional residence of Keshish House was restored by Mr. Homayoun Afham, who is considered to be one of the lovers of Iranian art and culture, in the year 2005. The main building of Keshish Historical House includes an octagon, rooms, Shahneshin, Gushvareh and a large porch. Its internal space is decorated with gypsum and a mirror. The ceiling of the porch is located on four wooden pillars and is decorated in a wooden frame with chess board form. In addition to the main building located on the northern side of the mansion, on the other side, there is a newly built complex with an architectural style like the previous building and at an altitude equal to it, a three story building has been added to the old building. This complex, which has now been changed to the Keshish Historical House, includes numerous suites, meeting rooms, kitchen, courtyard, pond and beautiful garden and library with a valuable collection of old books, manuscripts and Iranian music gramophone pages. The ancient structure of the building, with the combination of two elements of tradition and modernity, has created a beautiful and simple set of elegance to create the best moments of staying in the traditional hotels of Isfahan, while smoothing the spirit, comfort and relax. This hotel has more than 11 rooms and all rooms have a private bathroom and toilet.
