Many towers have been built in the past for different usages in this city. One of them is a kind of tower for guarding a part of the city. The guardian has a name called Hadar Bash who was responsible to inform the other guards before the attacks. Keeping pigeons to use in agriculture was another usage of the towers. These towers were built in 2 or 3 floors near the city wall. One of these towers is Mahmood Abad that you can still find its remains in a neighborhood called Mirzaiha.
