Haj Faramarz Khan Sabzevari Caravanserai is one of the historical monuments of Sabzevar, located on the western side of Kargar Square. This caravanserai which was registered as one of the national works of Iran, is located close to Haj Mollah Hadi Sabzevari Tomb and Boghrat Tomb. It has been turned into Sabzevar Museum of Anthropology. Haj Faramarz Khan Sabzevari Caravanserai, known as Robat-e Kanoon, is one of the sights of Mashhad that was made in four-porch forms. The entrance of this caravanserai leads through a vestibule to the south porch from the southern part. The caravanserai entrance has two floors and its major architectural decoration is exclusive to the use of geometric designs using ochre painting on the facade of the building. Robat’s roof is open and in addition to the four main porches, the pavilions are overlooking the courtyard. The materials used in this caravanserai include bricks, sand, plaster, lime and wood.
