Vakil Bath was constructed in Zandiyeh Dynasty upon the order of Karim Khan Zand, the king of that dynasty. Vakil Bath is geographically located in the heart of Isfahan close to many other historical monuments of that era such as Vakil Bazaar and Mosque. This bath benefited from the most updated architectural style of that period and this has made it unique to some extent, for instance, the entrance gate is small and ends to a bigger one through slope. The entrance of the changing room is also angular, all these considerations were to stop letting the hot air out and the cold air in. The most beautiful part of Vakil Bath is Shahneshin which was allocated to the king. The sudatory is covered with magnificent stones, under the cobblestone of this section, narrow tunnels were built to help the hot air circulation and thus keep the bath hot. Pools made of marble stone are other strong points of Vakil Bath. Under the dome ceiling of the bath, paintings of religious and cultural beliefs depict a lot of interests and dreams of people in that era. Vakil Bath is a proper choice for those who are keen on digesting a lot about Iranian cultural heritage.
