Atigh Jame Mosque is the oldest mosque of Shiraz, the capital city of Fars Province in Iran. The mosque is also famous as Adineh and Jome mosque among local people. The fundamental construction of Atigh Jame Mosque started in 281 of Hijri calendar during Saffarid Dynasty. The mosque was the first religious center in the city and thus had an important social and political role. Atigh Jame mosque owns six entrance gates which the most famous one is located on the northern part of the mosque. The gate was renovated during Safavid Dynasty. In the southern part, there is a wall called Nodbeh and is specialized by blue tiles in the shape of Cypress. At the heart of the yard, there is a mansion called Khodaikhane, the house of God in Persian. This mansion will cast its beauty to everyone.
