Taleqan Dam is situated on a Shahrood River and originates from Mazandaran Mountains and has created beautiful landscapes that receive many tourists every year. This Lake is a very good option for a one-day trip. It is located in the south of Alborz Mountains in the Taleghan valley, Alborz province, 135 kilometers to the northwest of Tehran.
