Tehran International Exhibition Center is located on the norther part of the city on Chamran Highway. The complex is as big as 850 thousand square meters and owns many different sections. There are 120 thousand square meter indoor halls, 35 thousand square meter outdoor exhibiting area, 22 hectare green area and about 21 hectare reaching aisles and passages. Tehran International Exhibition Center has three entrance doors which one of them is on Chamran Highway and two on Seoul Street. On each entrance gate, there are parking spaces for the ease and comfort of those who go there by their own car. The first international exhibition was held there in 1969 for 21 days which about 33 countries participated, afterward the process of its fame expanded and it introduced Tehran as an exhibition center to the world.
