The construction process took about three years and more than 3000 workers did their best to create such an awesome masterpiece. The building was constructed in an octagonal style and a 50-meter tall dome covered with turquoise blue faience is located on the top. There also are eight slender minarets around it. It is believed that Soltaniyeh dome is the first double-shelled one in Iran. Inspiring by the beliefs about heaven, it owns 8 Iwans as well.
