Rig port in Bandar Ganaveh is located in the south of Iran and it is one of the coastal areas of Persian Gulf. This small quiet port is situated 155 kilometers far from Bushehr and 17 kilometers from Bandar Ganaveh.  Markets and sales of foreign goods with reasonable prices have motivated many people to travel this part of the country in different seasons, especially in winter and spring. Rig port has a short distance from Bandar Ganaveh and the construction of a coastal road between these two cities has made both even closer. The port was also known as “Passenger Port”, and its origin dates back to Qajar and Safavid dynasty. One of the interesting tourist attractions of this port is its “Grape Planting System” in Kuhak Village that dates back to 100 to 150 year ago. Besides, the island of Mir Mohanna is also situated in the south of Rig Port. Rig Beach Park, a place for rest and recreation of tourists from other places, have been renovated and restored in recent years. Situated one kilometer far from Rig Port, there is a place that is covered with Jujube trees and it is considered as another attraction of this beautiful port.
