The Stone Lion is a historical monument in Hamadan, Iran. The monument is geographically located on a hill where it is believed to be a former Parthian cemetery. The Stone Lion or Shir Sangi is a great stone statue of a lion in the square with the same name in south-east Hamadan. The statue of Stone Lion with length of 5.2 meters, width of 1.15 meters and height of more than 1.20 meters (made of brown stone) is now installed at the end of 12 Metri Street.
