Sharah Zol Mountain is situated in Chavar County, 23 kilometers to the northwest of Ilam. The height of this mountain is almost 2050 meters and the chain continues 41 kilometers from northwest to southeast. Chavar village and Sohrab Village are located in the west and north part of the Sharah Zol Mountain respectively. The northwestern part is also covered with oak forests and that’s the reason why the lands around the mountain are so lush and green. The height of the mountain along with beautiful surrounding and delightful climate persuade many domestic and foreign nature lovers and mount climbers to visit this beautiful place.
