When Europeans first came to our country to visit, they witnessed some gardens and mansions with a special kind of figures and style they have never seen before. After the incident the term Jardin Persan (Iranian garden in French) and its equivalents in different languages started to appear, and the Europeans themselves began to build such buildings. The Persian Garden, which is the result of the translation of this term, has been registered in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the treasure consists of nine gardens of the same type. Pahlavanpour Garden in Mehriz is one of the examples of the Persian Gardens. What distinguishes this garden from the other ones is the use of water in the shape of an aqueduct that is dedicated to water the greens and surrounding areas. This garden along with its mansion was built during Zandiyeh period and renovated during Qajar Dynasty so you would be able to see the architectural beauties of the both periods. Except from the winter garden and the streams of running water in the garden, “Kooshk" (Summer Palace), also known as the "Sharbat House", is one of the great figures of Pahlavanpour Garden in Mehriz which makes it more pleasant to watch.
