Nowadays, bath is a place where we can get clean but in ancient Iran, it used to be a place for meeting each other and talking about the important news of the society. The historical bathhouses were big and beautifully decorated with colorful tiles and paintings. Navab Ancient Bathhouse in the capital city of Tehran was one of them. It was as big as a thousand square meters and the water was supplied from Qanat. The bath, just like other traditional examples, consisted of Garmkhaneh, a place to heat the bath, Sarbineh, Khazineh, pool and columns. It was made up of bricks, mortar, stone and tiles and later it was renovated with cement. The roof of Navab ancient Bath in Tehran is also fantastic to visit due to its specific architecture. After the renovation the bath has turned into the art and artifact house.  You could visit different artifacts from different cities of Iran in Navab Ancient Bath or have a delicious meal in its traditional restaurant. Alaedin Travel would really appreciate to accompany you in your trip to Iran.
