Tochal Cable Car in Tehran is situated in the northern part of Tehran, on the height of Alborz mountain range, and it is a great place to hang out in every season of the year. The project of its construction started in 1974 with the cooperation of a French and Austrian company. Tochal Cable Car provides facilities such as parking lot, 10 Iranian and foreign restaurants, coffee shop and sports equipment booth. This complex features two ski resorts, the first resort is 1200 meters and the second one is 5500 meters. Tennis club, archery and bungee jumping are also available at this sports complex. The complex also has a 2000-meter climbing and walking path which starts from the parking lot and ends at the first station of the Cable Car. In addition, Tochal mountainous Hotel is located beside the Tochal Cable Car and is ready to host the guests. The site receives many visitors and athletes, mostly during winter.
