Qom

Located in south west of the capital city of Iran, Qom is believed to be the theological of this country. This title was given to Qom because of several reasons. First of all, the hoy shrine of Fatima Masoumeh is located in this city, then the largest theology school of Iran is also active in Qom and as the result, many high ranking clerics live in this city. Due to the Islamic believes of locals, rules are observed more strictly in Qom and women coverage is considered important. Zand historical house in the center of Qom dates back to Qajar dynasty, it depicts the authentic Iranian architecture, nowadays it is the anthropology museum. Howz-e Soltan salt lake is a natural attraction of Qom hosting nature lovers. Sohan is famous among Iranians, it is a delicious saffron brittle toffee, do not miss it while you are visiting Qom.
