Geographically located 5 kilometers to the North of Chabahar in a village4 called Tiss, Portuguese Castle of Chabahr presents those who are taking a tour to Iran with its magnificence and beauties. The main entrance of the castle is on the northeast section. It owns four rooms on four sides that were constructed over thick foundations. It also has an Iwan which is 2 meters higher than the yard level. On the north section, there are ruins of rooms having an adjacent bigger rooms connected to the private Iwan. On the three other sides of the Tis Castle of chabahar there are the remnants of three booths facing the central yard. Facing Oman Sea, you could see the signs of two tall towers which one of them includes a room with a balcony and a special room for the king. This castle was made of brick, stone and plaster and the architecture is in line with those available during Seljuk dynasty, but the renovations found are according to Safavid and Qajar styles.
