Chaleshtar Village is located 6 kilometers to the northwest of Shahrekord in a mountainous area with moderate weather. The main activity of the villagers is agriculture and animal husbandry. Carpet weaving is one of the main handicrafts of this village and from the most important attractions of this region we can refer to mountainous landscapes, diverse plant species and recreational facilities near the river. Chaleshtar Village features many historical and religious monuments including Chaleshtor Castle that dates back to Qajar dynasty, Chaleshtor Historical Jame' Mosque which also dates back to Qajar dynasty was registered as a national monument.
