Kolah Farangi Tower in Shushtar is dating back to the Qajar era and is located in the center of Shushtar in Khuzestan province. This tower-like building is located next to the Karun River and close to Band-e-Mizan in Shushtar city and is famous as Kolah Farangi. The tower has eight sides and the foundation of the tower is located 4 meters above ground level and also the height of tower is 7 meters. The people of Shushtar called the tower Kolah Farangi and say that the tower was a watchdog tower for Kaiser Rome or Shapur Sassanid to supervise the work of the workers involved in Band-e-Mizan. The exterior facade of the tower is made of carved stones, which have fallen over time, and now only three meters from these stones have been left on the body of the tower.
