The name of salasel castle has been probably taken from Abi Salasel in 4th century who repaired this place. During 1340 to 1350, the castle was almost destroyed and its materials were used to make some Departments of Finance, Cereal, sugar and Tobaccos. Although Extensive destruction happened there, Greatness and glory of this magnificent ancient building is still visible.
