Javanmardan Park is one of the important tourist spots in the south of Tehran which receives many visitors, especially on the weekends. The park was constructed in two phases, the first phase was built in an area as wide as 36 hectors in 2012. Javanmardan Park includes facilities such as children playground, tourism and sports spaces, bicycle and carriage paths, fountains and Iranian traditional restaurant with delicious foods and snacks. What has made this park to stand among other parks in Tehran is the existence of statues of eminent Iranian writers, humanitarians, poets and scientists in this park. Honarmandan Park, which is another part of Javanmardan Park, includes a traditional dining hall and traditional teahouses with beautiful green spaces. Bike riding track and also rental bikes are other facilities of this park. Besides, the park has 24 km-long recreational walkways. Last but not least, renewable solar energy is used as the lighting source.
