Museum of the Qasr Prison is one of the cultural and historical places of Tehran that you can spend a nice time drowning in the past by visiting it. The Qasr Prison was built on the place of one of the oldest palaces of Qajar dynasty. During Pahlavi dynasty, it was ordered to destroy the place and build a prison instead. Nowadays, the Kolah Farangi Mansion and the old building of the Qajari Palace still remain and are available to visit. The museum owns an entrance of a big iron door just like other prisons and a narrow and long aisle behind it. On both sides of this aisle, there are many small rooms which were used to control the traffic of the prisoners. On the walls of the aisle, you could read about the history of the Museum of Qasr Prison, after passing the aisle you would see some small prisons which are changed into booths these days.
