Amininha Hussainiya, as one of Qazvin's traditional and royal houses was constructed by Haj Mohammad Reza Amini, a wealthy merchant in Qazvin. Located on the west side of Dezej River, it was built in 1275 Hijri calendar. It was designed in two floors and surrounded by four courtyards. Within the building, three halls are located alongside each other which are stretched from east to west of the house. These halls are separated by astonishing mirror designed Orosi, which creates a beautiful covered area. During the time of religious ceremonies, these Orosies are lifted and these three halls form like a gigantic hall. In the middle of each, magnificent chandeliers are to be seen. Carpets of the house are of antique and seamless kinds. Once being inside this hall, you will feel like kings and royalties. Aminiha Hussainiya is a museum all by itself. The ceiling of the hall is a collection of artistic masterpieces. It is covered by drawings and stucco and wooden carved pieces. The walls are decorated with mirrors and colorful glasses and windows. Underneath Aminiha Hussainiya are vast empty spaces, cellars, chambers and pantries. Several years after its construction, Haj Mohammad Reza Amini devoted the house to religious ceremonies in Muharram and Ramadan months for feeding the poor.
