Sa'd al-Saltane Caravanserai which is located in Qazvin, was built in Qajar era by Sa'd al-Saltane, the ruler of Qazvin. The most significant part of this landmark is the Chahar Sough. Being covered by an enormous tiled dome, it creates a lavishing view to every visitor's eye. Four half-domes surrounding the main dome adds more to this view. Recently being renovated by the municipality of Qazvin, Sa'd al-Saltene Caravanserai has been brought to more attention worldwide. The moment you step into Caravanserai entrance, a journey down the history lane begins. Aisles carpeted with stones and booths decorated with hundreds of years old breaks lead you to several lively courtyards. As one of the greatest inner city Caravanserai in Iran, it consists of several bath houses, Serra, Chahar Sough, mosques and tea houses. Sa'd al-Saltane complex of Qazvin, one of the biggest caravansaries and commercial centers all over the world and the country was constructed in an area as big as six hectare.
