This construction is the only mansion among the royal palaces remained form the kingdom of Tahmasp I. During the time when Qazvin was the capital city, during Safavid Dynasty, this mansion was very famous. The plan of Chehel Sotoun Palace in Qazvin has a Swastika shape. The first floor of the building has a very big hall which has four rooms on its four side each has different geometric shapes. The construction also has four balconies which were used to ventilate the air and enjoy the fresh air while they were inside.
