Iran is located in a mountainous belt, therefore; beautiful mountains can be seen in every part of the country. Sabalan, as the third highest mountain in Iran, has a lot of valuable attractions and can be considered as an ideal destination for traveling. Natural hot spring, charming nature, and permanent snowfall which has led to the establishment of Alvares Ski Resort are among the most important attractions in Sabalan Skirt in Ardabil. In addition, this mountain is believed to be the birthplace of Zoroaster (an ancient Persian-speaking prophet). For this reason, this place has a special sanctity among natives and local people. Mount Sabalan has three famous peaks and the highest one is called Sultan. The other two peaks are called Haram and Kasra. The interesting thing about this mountain is that there is a lake on the top of the mountain and attracts many climbers every year.
