You pass the roads to Damghan, Jandagh, Mesr, Garmeh and Bayazeh. Exploring these desert areas looks amazing. Continue the way to historical city of Yazd. The most exciting part is biking through the lands of the great Achaemenids Empire and visiting the remained sites of Pasargadae and Persepolis. The cultural city of Shiraz and beautiful Isfahan are waiting for you as the next destinations. At the end, you have a chance to bike in the red village of Abyaneh.

Biking in Ancient Persia

DAY 1: Tehran
Upon arrival to Tehran IKA Airport, Our guide will welcome you and accompany you to the hotel which is booked in advanced. You'll take some rest at your hotel and will be ready for the exciting tour from tomorrow morning.

DAY 2: Tehran to Damghan
Early in the morning, we depart from Tehran to Damghan, one of the oldest cities of Iran. Firstly, you will visit the oldest mosque in Iran, remained from the Sassanid era, Tarikhaneh Mosque. The next point is Pire Alamdar Dome. The structure was designed as a circular and cylindrical tower with a double shelled dome. Then you visit Jame Mosque of Damghan. We'll spend the night at Damghan.

DAY 3: Damghan to Jandagh
After a drive to Jandagh City, we'll take the ride with bikes from Jandagh to Mesr Desert (25 km), passing through the vast salt desert of Iran. Visiting the unique desert landscapes while biking would be amazing. At night, you stay in a local house in Mesr village.

DAY 4: Mesr to Khor and Garmeh
Today, after watching the picturesque views of the sun rise and enjoying the desert entertainments, we'll ride a bike to Khor (45 km). Then, continue driving to Garmeh village which presents one of the best natural desert sights with its Palm trees and camels. You stay at night in a traditional house in Garmeh.

DAY 5: Garmeh to Bayazeh
Today, you leave Garmeh and continue the way by riding a bike to Bayazeh village (35 km) which was found 2.500 years ago. You have enough time to explore this ancient village and enjoy watching the local’s lifestyle. You will have a dreamy night in a local house.

DAY 6: Bayazeh to Kharanagh and Chak Chak and Yazd
You will leave Bayazeh and drive to Kharanagh, an ancient village from Sassanid era where you can find peace of a rural life. Then, you will be ready to ride a bike to Chak Chak (40 km),where you can find one of the most important Zoroastrian temples. At the end, we'll drive to Yazd and stay the night in this historical city.

DAY 7: Yazd Full Day
Now, you are in a city which is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage. We are so energetic to visit evocative Towers of Silence which locals call it Dakhmeh. Then, you go to Zoroastrians Fire Temple where is a holly place for Zoroastrians as it is safeguarding the 1500 years old ancient fire. Then, you visit an ancient mosque remained from Ilkhanid period, Jame Mosque of Yazd and enjoy watching its amazing tile works. You will walk through Fahadan neighborhood to watch the ancient architecture of a city in the heart of desert. The next point is Amir Chakhmaq Square which is a prominent structure and the symbol of the city and always be a suitable place for gatherings.

DAY 8: Yazd to Pasargadae and Saadat Shar
You drive to Pasargadae, the oldest city remained from Achaemenids and you visit the Tomb of Cyrus the Great who is a symbol of justice in the world. Then, you ride a bike to Saadat Shahr (25 km) to stay the night at a local house.

DAY 9: Saadat Shahr to Persepolis and Shiraz
Today, you will make a fantastic day which would be one of your notable memories of your whole life. Riding a bike through the Great Persian Empire area is not a common experience and just a few people can have the chance to do it. You will ride bikes to Persepolis (55 km), the astonishing city which Darius the Great founded in 512 BC. After discovering this fantastic ancient city, we'll continue the way driving to Shiraz.

DAY 10: Shiraz Full Day
Early in the morning, you leave the hotel in order not to lose the marvelous combination of light and colors in Nasir al Mulk Mosque. This mosque is a masterpiece of interior design and the most suitable location for taking magnificent photos. After leaving the mosque, you continue the way to visit Arg of Karimkhan which was a citadel remained from Zandieh Dynasty. The next points are Vakil Mosque, Vakil Bath and Vakil Bazar which are charming parts of Vakil complex. Eram Garden is an astonishing place for your next visit. At the end of today's city break, you are going to visit the Tomb of Hafez, a great Persian poet who is inspiring.

DAY 11: Shiraz to Isfahan
Early in the morning, we depart from Shiraz to Isfahan ,the city of Persian artists where was the capital city of Iran during Safavid Dynasty. In the evening, you have free time to ride around the city as you desire or to walk through the nice streets.

DAY 12: Isfahan Full Day
You have a chance to ride in historical areas of Isfahan. In the morning, you ride from your hotel to Si o se Pol and then to Khaju Bridge, two famous historical bridges located on the main river of the city. Then, you ride a bike to Naghshe Jahan Square, the most favorite tourist attraction of Isfahan which is surrounded by 4 important monuments. Then, you ride to Jame Mosque of Isfahan remained from Sasanid era. This old mosque was first a fire temple and after Islamic era, was changed to a mosque. In the evening, you come back to Naghshe Jahan Square and enjoy its fascinating area.

DAY 13: Isfahan to Abyaneh
Today, you are going to drive toward Abyaneh Village and ride a bike from the highway exit up to this unique village (40 km). You enter the village and discover its beauties by riding your bike. The houses of the village are mostly constructed by mud and bricks and have wonderful facades designed with sash windows, balconies and wooden roofs. You spend the night in this amazing village.

Opening dates and time of Jewels Museum in Tehran are Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 14:00 to 16:00.

States offices, administrations, post offices and banks are generally open from 07:30 to 12:00 and reopen after lunch break from 13:00 to 16:00. 
On 15 May, 03 June, 17 June, 29 & 30 August and 16 October 2020, all tourist sites are close in Iran.
You can ask the officer to not stamp your passport.
You must follow the rules of the Iranian government for clothing. Women should cover their hair whenever they are in public (since they land at the Iranian airport), for men the use of shorts is not allowed.
