Iran is not only an amazing destination for its brilliant historical and cultural attractions, but also attracts numerous nature, adventure and sport lovers. There are some ski resorts in Iran which host many local and international tourists during the winter. We plan a 7 day trip for skiing in Dizin International Ski Resort as the first international ski resort in Iran. Dizin Ski Resort locates on Alborz Mountain Range which is one of the 40 highest ski resorts in the world. Also, we consider one day excursion in Tehran for visiting its historical monuments.

Skiing in Dizin Slopes

DAY 1: Welcome to Tehran
Upon arrival to Tehran Imam Khomeini international airport, you will meet the guide and you would be transferred to the hotel which was booked from previous night. You take a rest to be fresh for the next days.

DAY 2: Tehran to Dizin
We will drive through Chalus Road, which is one of the most beautiful roads in the world due to the opinions of those who experienced driving through it, to go to Dizin, upon arrival, you take rest at the hotel and get ready for an energetic skiing.

DAY 3: Dizin

Dizin Ski Resort is the first ski resort in Iran which was approved by the international ski federation as a proper place for holding international competitions. The whole day is going to be spent to ski here.

DAY 4: Enjoying specific physical and technical features
Dizin Ski Resort has different amenities and features for ski lovers. There are special areas for both amateur and professional skiers. You enjoy all the available ski amenities there and have fun.

DAY 5: Dizin to Tehran
Due to the location of Dizin ski resort, it is active from December to May and ski lovers could enjoy skiing there during this time. This is the last day to enjoy skiing. In the afternoon, we have to pack to go back to Tehran.

DAY 6: Tehran Full Day
Today is the last day of your tour. You visit the most important sites in central area of Tehran. The first point is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Royal Golestan Palace which contains a group of royal structures and is a monument that can present the contemporary art and history of Iran. Then, you visit Crown Jewelry Museum which exhibits royal jewels. The next point is Carpet Museum where you can watch the precious collection of Persian carpets. In the end, you walk around Tehran Grand Bazar to buy souvenirs and watch the traditional culture.

After a week full of enjoyment and getting refreshed, you take the flight back to your home country.

Fridays are weekend in Iran and Bazar is closed.
Opening dates and time of Jewels Museum in Tehran are Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 14:00 to 16:00.
The hotels could be replaced with other hotels in same category if these hotels have limited availability for your selected dates.
States offices, administrations, post offices and banks are generally open from 07:30 to 12:00 and reopen after lunch break from 13:00 to 16:00. 
On 15 May, 03 June, 17 June, 29 & 30 August and 16 October 2020, all tourist sites are close in Iran.
You can ask the officer to not stamp your passport.
You must follow the rules of the Iranian government for clothing. Women should cover their hair whenever they are in public (since they land at the Iranian airport), for men the use of shorts is not allowed.
