Magnificent East of Persia

DAY 1: Tehran

Welcome to Tehran, the capital city of Iran. You will enter IKA Airport. Our guide will accompany you to your hotel which was booked from last night. You take a rest at your hotel and will be ready for Tehran excursion. Firstly, you visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Golestan Palace which contains the former Qajar royal structures and is a great monument that can show the contemporary history and art of Iran. The next point is Iran National Museum and Royal Crown Jewels Museum. Then, you will watch the charming Persian art in Carpet Museum. In the end, you can walk through the traditional trading area, Tehran Grand Bazar.

DAY 2: Tehran to Mashhad

We take the flight to Mashhad. First, we visit Nadershah Museum located next to his tomb. You will know more about this respectful brave  Persian King who fought to make Iran a free country. Then, you go to Torqabeh Area and in the afternoon we go to Imam Reza Holy Shrine which contains Goharshad Mosque, a museum, a library, four seminaries, a cemetery, Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, a dining hall for pilgrims, vast prayer halls, and other buildings as well as the mausoleum of Imam Reza.

DAY 3: Neishabur

In the morning, we go to Neishabur city. In this city you visit the houses of two famous poets. Mausoleum of Khayyam and Mausoleum of Attar are located here. Then, it is time for visiting Mausoleum of Kamalolmolk, an Iranian painter, whose masterpiece was Mirror Hall, he painted it over a five-year period. In the afternoon, you come back to Mashhad and have free time for shopping or whatever you are interested in.

DAY 4: Mashhad to Ferdows

In the morning, we drive to Ferdows to visit a newly registered UNESCO World Heritage site, Qanat Baladeh, and then, we intend to visit Baghestan-Olia and Toon Historical city which was a very important city in the territory of Khorasan in Early Islamic era consisting of Olia Mosque and Kheiruz Bath. We spend the night in Ferdows to breathe its fresh air and relax in hot springs.

DAY 5: Ferdows to Boshruyeh and Tabas

We drive to Tabas but on the way, there is an ancient city called Boshruyeh. The city has done a lot to restore its traditional theme in a desert land. The area is famous as Iran's Ancient Paradise. After that, we go to Tabas and spend our night there.

DAY 6: Tabas

The city tour of Tabas is what we have today. Rice farm in the heart of desert looks amazing and it wonders us as the first step in Ezmighan Village, then we visit Morteza Ali Spring and at last but not least we go to Kale Jeni, a mysterious canyon which is one of the most beautiful Iran natural attractions in your tour to Iran.

DAY 7: Tabas to Birjand

The day will be started by driving to Birjand. First of all, we go to Akbarieh Complex which is surrounded by mountains and consists of two residential buildings and two gardens. Next, we have the opportunity to go to Anthropology Museum of Birjand and for seeing the workmanship of weavers, we go to the Carpet Museum.

DAY 8: Birjand Full Day

This city is full of historical attractions such as Shokatieh School, Cistern and Pordeli House which is one of the beautiful houses of this area dating back to Qajar Era. Then we visit Bazaar and we can spend some time shopping handicrafts. Last step is the Birjand Castle from Safavid Dynasty.

DAY 9: Birjand to Zabol

Another nice day is waiting for you just like other days. We start to drive to Zabol and on the way we visit a beautiful attraction which we should not miss. Ferg Citadel which is remained from the 12th century and to great extend has survived deliberate and natural destructive events is the last place. We spent the night in Zabol preparing for the next day.

DAY 10: Zabol to Nehbandan and Deh Salm

We start our day by visiting Shahr-i Sokhta which was the first complex society in Bronze Age. Next, we drive to Lut Desert to stay our night in Deh Salm and visit its attractions but in the middle we should not miss Nehbandan which includes Khan Sharaf Windmills which its axis is vertical in comparison to European windmills with a horizontal axis.

DAY 11: Deh Salm to Shahdad and Kerman

What a good day if it starts with strolling through lush palm groves in Deh Salm. Then, on our way to Kerman, Shahdad Kalut seems like a big city from far that is a must-see. After visiting this desert land which was always considered as a tourist attraction, we head off to Kerman and enjoy its starry sky at night.

DAY 12: Kerman Full Day

Rayen Citadel which dates back to Pre-Islamic Era is the first place we visit on our 12th day of our magnificent trip to Iran. Mahan and its fantastic attractions are where we go next. Mahan Shazdeh Garden which is such a brilliant diamond in the heart of desert and Shah Nematollah Vali Holy Shrine are the places we enjoy.

DAY 13: Kerman to Yazd

First of all, we visit Ganjali Khan Complex including a school, a square, a caravanserai, a bathhouse, Ab Anbar (water reservoir), mint(an old bank), a mosque and bazaar dating back to Safavid era. We drive to Yazd. Persian architecture jewel of Dowlat Abad Garden is what we see when we arrive in Yazd. You can watch the tallest wind catcher in this beautiful garden.

DAY 14: Yazd Full Day

Welcome to the city which is in UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. The first point is Towers of Silence which locals call it Dakhmeh. Zoroastrians buried their dead bodies on top of these towers. Now,it’s time to go to Zoroastrians Fire Temple where is a holly place for worship of Zoroastrians. Then, you go for visiting an ancient mosque that remained from Ilkhanid period, Jame Mosque of Yazd. You can walk around Fahadan neighborhood to watch the ancient architecture of the city. The next point is Amir Chakhmaq Square which is a prominent structure and the symbol of the city and always be a suitable place for gatherings. Water Museum is the last place for today excursion.

DAY 15: Yazd to Nain and Tehran

On our way to the biggest metropolis of Iran, we stop in Nain to visit Nain Jame Mosque, which is still in use despite of being one of the oldest mosques in Iran. You visit Anthropology Museum too. Continue the way and spend the night in Tehran.

DAY 16: Tehran

Magnificent monuments in East of Persia were visited. You take a comfortable flight back home.

Opening dates and time of Jewels Museum in Tehran are Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 14:00 to 16:00.
The hotels could be replaced with other hotels in same category if these hotels have limited availability for your selected dates.
States offices, administrations, post offices and banks are generally open from 07:30 to 12:00 and reopen after lunch break from 13:00 to 16:00. 
On 15 May, 03 June, 17 June, 29 & 30 August and 16 October 2020, all tourist sites are close in Iran.
You can ask the officer to not stamp your passport.
You must follow the rules of the Iranian government for clothing. Women should cover their hair whenever they are in public (since they land at the Iranian airport), for men the use of shorts is not allowed.
