Philosophy of Desert

DAY 1: Tehran
Upon arrival to Tehran IKA airport, our guide will welcome you and accompany you to your hotel which was booked previously. You take some rest at your nice hotel and will be ready for your amazing trip from tomorrow morning.

DAY 2: Tehran Full Day
Today is the first day of your trip in Iran. The capital city of Iran has lots of secrets to tell you. You visit the most important sites in central area of Tehran. The first point is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Golestan Palace which is a group of royal buildings and is a great monument that can show the contemporary history of Iran. The next point is Iran National Museum which shows different stone figures and objects from ancient Persia’s excavations and was built under the command of Reza Shah Pahlavi. Then, you visit Crown Jewelry Museum which is a precious collection of national jewels. At the end, you walk in Tehran Grand Bazar.

DAY 3: Tehran to Kashan
Kashan is a tiny historical town which is famous for its Rose Gardens and lovely historical houses. After breakfast, You will visit Fin Garden, one of the Persian Gardens listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and then Sialk Archeological Hills. The next site is Boroujerdiha Historical House which is a good sample of Irani architecture in 19th century. Tabatabai House is another historical house you visit today. Also, you have enough time to walk in Kashan Bazar and enjoy shopping. Don’t forget to taste the famous sweets called “Baghlava”.

DAY 4: Kashan to Zavareh
On the way driving to Zavareh, we have a stop in Ardestan to visit Jame Mosque of Ardestan. Now, you enter Zavareh and visit Jame Mosque of Zavareh which was the first four-Evan mosque in post-Islamic era. Continue visiting another site, Pa Minar Mosque that has the second oldest minarets in Iran. The next point is Zoorkhaneh where is the place to hold an ancient Iranian ritual called Pahlevani. Zavareh Traditional Bazar will let you face a real life style of local people. Now, it’s time to drive to Zavareh Desert, just next to central desert of Iran. It would be the first night trekking in desert and is wonderful watching stars at night.

DAY 5: Anarak to Mesr Desert
The next city will be Anarak which is an ancient city remained from Sassanid era. So, after breakfast,continue the way to Anarak and visit the remains of its old castle and barriers and move towards Mesr Oasis, one of the most famous deserts in Iran. Staying in a traditional eco lodge in desert would be an amazing and unique experience. Looking at stars which are blinking and listening to the mysterious silence of desert will remove all negative energies and let you feel fresh instead.

DAY 6: Mesr Desert
Today, you have enough time to enjoy desert entertainments. You can walk on golden sand hills and take breathtaking photos. You can experience Camel riding. Safari is the next activity in desert. At night, you gather around fire and have fun while you are eating snacks and drinking tea which was made on the fire and it is very delicious. Sleep in desert ecolodge and stare at the magical desert night sky.

DAY 7: Mesr Desert to Chak Chak and Yazd
After leaving desert behind, we will drive to Yazd, but we have a chance to go to an exclusive mountainous village which is a very important place for Zoroastrians. You go to Chak Chak and Pire Sabz Shrine which is a holy place for Zoroastrians. Then, you will arrive to Yazd, the city which has lots of historical places to visit. You have free time to walk around the city and enjoy meeting local people.

DAY 8: Yazd Full Day
The whole city is registered in UNESCO World Heritage list. The sightseeing will be started by going to Towers of Silence which locals call it Dakhmeh. These towers were used for funeral ceremonies of Zoroastrians. Now, it is the time to go to Zoroastrians Fire Temple where is a holy place for worship of Zoroastrians. Then, you go for visiting an ancient mosque remained from Ilkhanid period than can, Jame Mosque of Yazd dating back to Sassanid era. You can walk around Fahadan nighbourhood to visit the ancient architecture of the city. The next point is Amir Chakhmaq Square which is a prominent structure and the symbol of Yazd and always be a suitable place for gatherings.

DAY 9: Yazd to Bafgh
After breakfast, we drive to Bafgh  which is such a heaven in desert. A city full of historical sites and a nice desert. You can walk through palm trees and enjoy talking to local people. Then you enjoy desert entertainments in Shen and Shaden Desert. You can experience safari, camel riding, motor riding and watching at the sky full of stars. You spend the night in desert.

DAY 10: Bafgh to Tehran
Today is the last day of your tour to Iran. After exploring Bafgh, you come back to Tehran. First, you visit Bagherabad Castle which is a two-story building with 45 rooms and let you know how was the lifestyle of deserts in the past. The next point is Khan Square which contains a mosque and a caravanserai dates back to Zandieh Dynasty. We move on to be in Vahshi Bafghi House which belonged to a great Persian Poet, Vahshi Bafghi. You will be in Tehran at night.

This is the last day of this wonderful adventure, you go to the airport to fly back to your home. We hope you come back again to our country.

Opening dates and time of Jewels Museum in Tehran are Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 14:00 to 16:00.
The hotels could be replaced with other hotels in same category if these hotels have limited availability for your selected dates.
States offices, administrations, post offices and banks are generally open from 07:30 to 12:00 and reopen after lunch break from 13:00 to 16:00. 
On 15 May, 03 June, 17 June, 29 & 30 August and 16 October 2020, all tourist sites are close in Iran.
You can ask the officer to not stamp your passport.
You must follow the rules of the Iranian government for clothing. Women should cover their hair whenever they are in public (since they land at the Iranian airport), for men the use of shorts is not allowed.
